This is such a great, quick & easy salad dressing to whip up! It takes no time. I always at least double this recipe (if not triple or so to keep in the fridge for future days) 🙂
I put this dressing with a romaine salad full of cilantro, tomatoes and some scallions. But of course, it can go with absolutely anything you want it to – – or even as a dip.
INGREDIENTS
-1 large avocado
-5 tablespoons of fresh lime juice (or 3 limes)
-1/4 cup water
-2 teaspoons of cayenne pepper sauce (I prefer Frank’s Red Hot Original Sauce)
-1/2 teaspoon salt
INSTRUCTIONS
-Blend all ingredients together.
-Taste a little and adjust accordingly. If you use pre-bought lime juice instead of fresh limes, it usually tastes more concentrated. So if you use limes, you’ll probably want to squeeze some more into the dressing. Also, you might want to dash some more hot sauce as well to your liking. I feel like I’m always adding a little more here and there depending on each batch!
Enjoy!
