life update
I’m sure if you follow my Instagram feed (which I hope you do!) – – this time of year you are probably wondering, “Where is she now!? Why isn’t she posting as many cacti and desert hiking pictures?!”
open up and you will receive.
trust the universe. Trust God.
Trust your plan.
My husband and I are both from Georgia and it will always be our home base and forever home someday. We always come back here for good chunks of time during every off-season. During this time, Drew really kicks up his training a notch (no pun intended), while also working with his kicking coach.
We are currently dealing with free agency which has its ups and downs. It’s basically the definition of uncertainty and go with the flow attitude. We have no clue where we will live in a few weeks or where we will be playing next season, but we know that wherever it is, it is meant to be. It will be the great next chapter of our story! It’s funny how everything seriously is meant to be, and I truly do believe everything happens for a reason.
if you don’t go through uncertainty and jump out of your comfort zone, you will never achieve true success.
If you would have ever told me the first home I would own would be in Arizona, I would have laughed and said ya right! Meanwhile, there is no where else I would rather have a home now!! (I can write a million posts on my sincere, genuine, pure love for the state of Arizona). I’m so thankful that football brings us to new places, introduces us to new adventures, and most importantly, unites us with the most beautiful best friends we will have for the rest of our lives.
And none of that would come into our lives if we weren’t open to it. So we have to believe, have faith, trust the process, and trust each other.
My husband and I are no stranger to change and believing that something better is around the corner. We have played for the Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions, and Arizona Cardinals over the past 5 NFL seasons, so clearly we are no stranger to moving. However, each time gets harder and harder because each place we love more and more. We have lived in Arizona for 3 years and played 3 football seasons with the Cards so clearly this will be our hardest goodbye.
Thanks for following along our journey, you’ll be seeing me in Georgia for a bit — that is until our next off-season travels — Arizona, our next home state, or abroad – – you will have to wait and see!
xoxo
